What a better time to plan an outdoor family picnic than on one of the longest days of the year! Simply take your dinner to the backyard or to a park. Spend some time during your meal talking and learning something new about each family member. Ask each person the question, “If you could have a picnic anywhere in the universe, where would you go? Why?” Since it will be staying light out later, bring a Frisbee, ball or other outdoor games to enjoy after you eat. Make sure to bring the bug spray!
